About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled R&D/TS&D Technician to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will provide technical support to our Technical Service and Development Engineers (TS&D) and Technologist Leaders in the preparation and execution of packaging development activities and studies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic technical support to TS&D engineers and technologists in the development of new products and processes.
- Manage and execute laboratory work requests, maintaining and running testing equipment and documenting data.
- Prepare and perform standard and non-routine procedures using relevant equipment and instruments.
- Accurately record readings and observations using relevant equipment and instruments.
- Act responsibly for safe operation and routine laboratory maintenance.
- Promptly communicate issues to Lab Leader to enable or accelerate problem resolution.
Requirements:
- A diploma in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Mechanical, Electrical or other related sciences.
- Competent in English written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Familiar with computer software such as Microsoft Excel.
- Good interpersonal skills when communicating and collaborating with TS&D engineers and technologists.
