Job Role
A Compliance Expert is required to conduct thorough due diligence on clients, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal standards. This role involves:

· Performing scheduled and unscheduled reviews of client records across various risk classes.
· Monitoring and tracking due diligence records, developing action plans for expiring records, and ensuring timely completion without overdue cases.
· Escalating suspicious activity from an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) perspective to senior management for review.
· Determining account scope and performing client identification, verification, and screening in line with AML/KYC procedures.
· Validating customer information, such as address, employment details, and potential Politically Exposed Persons/Significant Public Figures connections.
· Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure due diligence meets regulatory requirements.
· Coordinating with Relationship Managers to obtain missing information required to complete reviews.

Key Requirements

· Minimum Degree in a related discipline
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
· Ability to start immediately or within short notice

· High-quality standards for due diligence reviews and highlighting system issues or procedural clarifications to management.

Responsibilities

The Compliance Expert will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Conducting thorough due diligence on clients to ensure compliance with local regulations and internal standards.
2. Reviewing and verifying client information, including address, employment details, and potential Politically Exposed Persons/Significant Public Figures connections.
3. Developing action plans for expiring due diligence records and ensuring timely completion without overdue cases.
