About the Role:

The Veterinary Care Specialist will assist veterinarians with patient care, perform diagnostic tests, and maintain accurate medical records. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about animal welfare and is looking to grow their career in veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians with patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with veterinarians.
  • Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, responding to their questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Clean and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and hospital areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A diploma in veterinary technology or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
