Electronics Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the setup, calibration, and testing of circuits, components, and mechanical assemblies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic systems
  • Conducting repairs and modifications at board and component level
  • Positioning and aligning parts and components using methods like soldering, crimping, and gluing
  • Testing and troubleshooting complex analog and digital electronics to component level
  • Assessing design configuration status using engineering documentation and maintenance manuals

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Electronics Technology, or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Experience in troubleshooting electronic products is preferred

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to read schematics and technical publications
  • Understanding of electronic circuit design and fault isolation
  • Proficiency in operating test equipment like auto-testers, oscilloscopes, and meters
  • Excellent soldering skills, especially on surface-mount technology
