Roles and Responsibilities

As a Retail Sales Associate at ADVENTURE 21, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and sales support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Cashiering duties: Process sales transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a secure and accurate cash handling environment.
  • Opening and closing of the retail store: Ensure the store is properly opened and closed, including completing opening and closing procedures, securing the premises, and performing necessary checks.
  • Organize and display products orderly on shelves: Maintain a visually appealing store environment by merchandise and arranging products in an attractive and accessible manner.
  • Perform stock-take and stock replenishment timely: Conduct regular stock counts, identify and report discrepancies, and ensure timely restocking of products to maintain a well-stocked store.
  • Daily housekeeping to keep the retail store clean and tidy at all times: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking shelves.
  • Any other duties assigned by your superior: Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and store operations.
  • Manage point-of-sale processes: Ensure accurate and efficient processing of sales transactions, including handling customer queries and resolving any issues.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service: Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving customer concerns.
  • Keep up to date with product information: Stay informed about products, including features, benefits, and promotions, to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Accurately describe product features and benefits: Clearly communicate product information to customers, including highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Follow all company policies and procedure: Adhere to ADVENTURE 21's policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality and upholding the company's values and standards.
Requirements

To be successful as a Retail Sales Associate at ADVENTURE 21, you will need to possess:

  • Good working commitment: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills: Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Self-motivated individual to achieve sales target: Be driven to meet and exceed sales targets, while maintaining a positive and supportive attitude.
  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level: Meet the minimum educational requirement of a GCE 'O' Level.
  • Retail experience preferred: Having retail experience is an advantage, but not necessary. We welcome applicants who are keen to work in the retail industry.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills: Effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Friendly, organized, team player: Demonstrate a positive attitude, be organized, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Job Types: Full-time, Permanent: Work as a full-time, permanent employee of ADVENTURE 21.
  • Salary: $2,175.00 - $2,400.00 per month: Earn a competitive salary, ranging from $2,175.00 to $2,400.00 per month.
