Job Overview

We seek a skilled engineer to lead the upkeep and maintenance of heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee repair, maintenance, and operation of heavy machinery and plant tools, including mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose faults, recommend corrective actions, and supervise repair work to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment reliability.
  • Lead daily workshop operations, plan tasks, and coordinate equipment needs with project teams.
  • Inspect new machines and equipment for quality and compliance with standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of equipment and workshop processes.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory, manage requisitions, and ensure efficient usage.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with management to improve SOPs, maintenance practices, and overall equipment reliability.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance; senior candidates with more experience will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, diagnostic techniques, and machinery brands.
