At Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Director to lead our logistics operations team.
The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in logistics operations management and a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience in the logistics field.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around SGD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Director to lead our logistics operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing operational performance, financial goals, and growth plans through effective solutions development.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading and managing the logistics operations to achieve the operations key performance index and the required service standards.
- Developing operational performance, financial goals, and growth plans through effective solutions development.
- Defining roles and responsibilities, planning for the department's future needs and operations; counselling employees on performance.
- Working collaboratively with client and departmental staff to assure operational effectiveness, adherence to policies and procedures, and maximization of flow of all incoming and outgoing material.
- Supervising and developing staff and otherwise carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Ensuring information/knowledge resources can be readily accessed and easily retrieved. Managing quality system and continuous process improvement within the facility.
- Defining requirements for operation and ensuring the implementation of new strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed requirements & customer expectations.
- Through Lean Warehousing System to implement and monitor improvement programs in cost reduction, quality improvement, safety, and best practices across operations.
- Administering and communicating company policies.
- Regularly reviewing performance expectations with leadership team. Providing expectations, performance planning, feedback to team members.
- Responsible for the training & development and performance discussions with staff.
- Maintaining good working relationships with customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in logistics operations management and a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience in the logistics field.
The required skills and qualifications for this role include:
- Good working knowledge of domestic distribution, warehouse management, inventory planning, transportation management, and logistics execution systems.
- Highly developed computer skills, with a focus on MS Office suite products.
- Proven transportation/logistics/supply chain management knowledge.
- Strategic thinking ability, proven implementation results.
- Superior customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent negotiation experience with subcontractors, transporters, & vendors.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong organization leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to re-prioritize workload to support urgent requests from various operations.
