About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Singapore. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the development of our plastics recycling data sets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate company data and analysis in the plastics recycling sector
  • Develop a deep understanding of recycling market drivers and contribute to the production of written analysis explaining and predicting market developments
  • Provide fundamental data research relevant to the plastics recycling value chain
  • Maintain and regularly update key data sets effectively
  • Generate ideas for expansion in this sector
  • Engage with the industry and clients through event/conference attendance, client engagement, and other marketing activities
  • Presentation of the team's analysis and representation of ICIS at related events
  • Broadening and adding further detail to our coverage of our plastic recycling data sets

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Recycling industry
  • Demonstrate interest in the circular economy and in contributing to its development (Sustainability or Chemistry/Chemical Engineering)
  • Proven quantitative and qualitative research skills either in education or employment
  • Good attention to detail and high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communicator and aptitude for building contacts and networks
  • Experience with forecast modeling software and methodologies would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the polyester industry would be advantageous
