Job Responsibilities
  • Manage full sets of accounts for SME clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant governing laws.
  • Supervise junior team members and collaborate with the Manager to meet deadlines for required filings and submissions.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and systems to reduce manual work and improve productivity.
  • Prepare tax computations, GST computations, and unaudited financial statements in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with external auditors to resolve accounting or tax-related issues for a portfolio of clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients independently and provide guidance to junior team members in handling complex clients.
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field, with ongoing ACCA certification or equivalent qualifications.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to take on challenges.
  • A good understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLookup and Pivot Table, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) and accounting software such as MYOB, QuickBooks, and Xero is also beneficial.
  • A customer service-oriented mindset and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
