We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vice President to join our team as Senior Risk Manager - International AML. This role will be based in Singapore.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas, leading and directing a team of professionals. They will require a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the objectives of the function.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as Senior Risk Manager - International AML. In this role, you will contribute to the analysis and preparation of reports for Internal Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc., that detail risks inherent in Credit, Market, Operational or other Risk Portfolios. Reporting can cover a variety of areas including but not limited to: portfolio concentrations, limit exceptions, stress testing, loss reserves or high-risk exposures.
Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to the analysis and preparation of reports for Internal Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc.
- Assist in Credit Bureau Reporting initiatives.
- Participate in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 10+ years of experience in finance and/or risk information analytics.
- Expert in development and senior usage of portfolio credit risk MIS. Strong understanding of key credit risk performance metrics, macroeconomic indicators, and general banking concepts.
- Ability to independently and effectively work across all levels of management and across functions to accomplish the mission.
- Demonstrated strong leadership experience, especially in transitioning or challenged environments (including strong facilitation skills).
