Licensed Practical Nurse
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of our healthcare organization.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general and psychiatric nursing processes, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program.
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Mississippi or multi-state license as approved by NCSBN.
- One (1) year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing preferred.
