Procurement Manager Position

This key position requires a deep understanding of supply chain management and engineering principles. The ideal candidate will have experience with MRP/SAP systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to maintain procurement processes efficiently.
">- Key Responsibilities:
- Source high-quality materials at competitive prices to meet production demands.
- Minimize excess inventory and secure optimal pricing and delivery from suppliers.
- Manage and update supplier databases to facilitate efficient procurement processes.
- Resolve production line issues through collaboration with QA, Engineering, and suppliers.
- Work with various teams to resolve component issues and enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Utilize MRP/SAP systems for procurement management and document maintenance for ISO standards.
- Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Marine Engineering + 3 years' experience; or Diploma in Engineering + 5 years' experience.
- Must-Have Skills:
- Experience with MRP/SAP systems.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Preferred Qualification:
- Professional purchasing certification (e.g., CIPS).
