About Our Team

We are seeking a skilled Aquarium Maintenance Specialist to join our team of passionate aquarists. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for maintaining the health and beauty of our diverse aquatic exhibits.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on aquarium systems, including water testing, filtration cleaning, and substrate vacuuming.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal water parameters (temperature, salinity, pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, etc.).
  • Conduct daily health checks of fish, invertebrates, and live plants, identifying signs of stress or disease.
  • Execute effective disease prevention and treatment protocols.
  • Prepare and administer diets for various aquatic species.
  • Clean and maintain aquarium decorations, rockwork, and artificial corals.
  • Assist with new tank setup and aquatic inhabitant relocation.
  • Maintain accurate records of tank conditions and maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in aquarium maintenance or as a dedicated hobbyist.
  • In-depth knowledge of freshwater and saltwater aquarium systems.
  • Strong understanding of aquatic animal husbandry, including fish identification and nutritional requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions.
  • Genuine passion for marine and aquatic life.
