Job Description

The primary role of an Air Conditioning Technician is to install, service, and repair various refrigeration and air-conditioning systems and components. This involves conducting routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and avoiding equipment failure.

Air Conditioning Technicians diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in air-conditioning and refrigeration units, replace or repair faulty components such as compressors, motors, and valves, and carry out testing and commissioning of newly installed systems to ensure proper functioning.

Maintenance records are accurately kept and maintenance reports prepared.

Ensuring workplace safety and health guidelines are adhered to.

Requirements
  • NITEC in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 1 year of related experience in installation, servicing, or repair of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
