As a supplier quality specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials and components meet specified requirements. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve quality issues and provide technical expertise.

Job Description:

This role involves various responsibilities, including:

  1. Quality Compliance & Investigations: Meet quality objectives, comply with safety requirements, issue quality remarks to suppliers, and conduct investigations.
  2. Supplier Documentation & Change Management: Manage supplier documentation, initiate change requests, and coordinate with stakeholders.
  3. SOPs & System Management: Create, review, and approve SOPs, manage SAP and LIMS systems, and train team members.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, resolve material-related quality issues, and support QE projects.
  5. Reporting & Metrics: Develop reports on supplier quality, collate supplier quality attributes, and monitor spending.
  6. Audits & Regulatory Support: Participate in audits, prepare audit documentation, and conduct QRAs.
  7. Training & Leadership: Provide coaching, training, and leadership development opportunities for team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, pharmacy, chemistry, or engineering.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, or quality operations.
  • Solid understanding of GMP, ISO 13485, and quality system regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with quality tools such as CAPA, OOS investigations, and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in electronic quality systems such as Veeva, SAP, LIMS, and TrackWise.
  • Strong documentation skills, including SOP creation, audit responses, and change control management.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage supplier-related issues effectively.
