Job Title: Prime Mover Driver Position

The Role of a Prime Mover Driver involves transportation of containers from the port to warehouses, factories, or residential locations, as well as returning or collecting containers from container yards or depots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation of Containers: Drive containers safely and efficiently from the port to designated locations, adhering to local traffic laws and specific port conditions.
  • Container Collection and Return: Collect or return containers from container yards or depots, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery and collection.
  • Safe Delivery: Ensure the safe and careful delivery of containers, prioritizing the security of goods in transit.
  • PSA Operations: Transport containers to PSA for export, following established procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Driving License: Hold a valid Class 4/5 driving license, with a proven track record of safe driving.
  • Familiarity with Singapore Roads: Be familiar with Singapore roads, including knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
  • SPMD Course Completion: Must have completed the SPMD course to enter PSA for container trucking; if not, training will be provided.
