Music Teacher Position

Job Description:

As a freelance music teacher, you will provide individualized instruction in piano, violin, or drums to students of various skill levels and interests. Your expertise will be utilized to develop personalized lesson plans that foster musical skills, including technique, theory, sight-reading, and performance.

Key responsibilities include creating a positive and engaging learning environment, assessing student progress regularly, and adjusting teaching strategies to meet evolving needs and goals. You will also prepare students for performances, exams, or personal milestones, providing guidance and support throughout the process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in piano, violin, or drums, with a strong understanding of music theory and performance techniques.
  • Previous experience teaching music to children in a one-to-one setting is highly desirable.
  • A relevant degree or certification in music education or performance is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and encouraging approach to teaching.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
