Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cover Teacher to join our team at ISS International School PTE. LTD. as a relief teacher for our high school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Delivery: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the curriculum in accordance with the guidelines stated in the ISS Curriculum Document.
  • Collaboration and Support: The candidate will participate in curriculum review and development, extra-curricular and activity week programs/Week Without Walls, ISS pastoral care program (homeroom duties, reporting procedures, student guidance, liaison with ISS Student Services), ongoing school development programs and school's accreditation program.
  • Support for Strategic Plan: The candidate will support the ISS Strategic Plan.
  • Marketing and Admissions Support: The candidate will provide support for the ISS Marketing department initiatives and ISS Admissions department initiatives.
  • Discipline and Communication: The candidate will implement the ISS Discipline Policy and maintain regular communication between parent/guardian and the school.
  • Relief Teaching and Supervision: The candidate will provide relief teaching, student supervision and as required by the Academic Directors.
  • Professional Development: The candidate will attend and participate in all staff meetings, In-Service Day programs, relevant training programs and in school events (Parents Evenings, Concert, Graduation, etc).
  • Ad-hoc Duties: The candidate will perform any ad-hoc academic duties as requested by Academic Directors.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: The candidate should possess a Degree or relevant professional qualification, teaching licence in educational administration.
  • Experience: The candidate should ideally possess a minimum 2 years of teaching experience in IB MYP & Diploma or in an international school environment.
  • Skills: The candidate should possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to liaise with parents, students and teachers, excellent leadership skills and problem solving skills and be able to work at ease with people from different cultural backgrounds.
  • IT Skills: The candidate should ideally possess excellent IT skills.
  • Team Player: The candidate should be a team player and be comfortable to work with all departments across the organization.
