Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure precision and excellence in our products. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for implementing robust quality assurance processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CMM Measurement and Programming: Collaborate with inspection teams to develop CMM programs and assess component features for measurement on CMM machines.
  • Setup Planning and Guidance: Prepare setup plans and provide expert guidance on CMM measurement methods to inspection teams.
  • CMM Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Studies: Conduct thorough MSA studies in line with internal quality standards.
  • CMM Inspections and Documentation: Perform precise CMM inspections and prepare detailed documentation.
  • Troubleshooting and Interpretation: Collaborate with Engineering teams to troubleshoot and interpret CMM measurement results.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Work closely with Engineering teams to document measurements and create comprehensive technical reports.
  • Process Development and Automation: Support the introduction of new processes, products, and inspection capabilities.
  • Design Input and Contribution: Provide input on design of tooling, fixtures, and inspection gauges for new and existing products.
  • Automation Initiatives: Contribute to automation initiatives for CMM inspection processes.
  • Digitization and Technology Integration: Collaborate with research institutes and OEMs on digitization and technology integration projects.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Precision Engineering, or a related field. Familiarity with GD&T and CMM programming software is essential. A minimum of 2 years' experience in CMM programming is desirable.

This position demands excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a hands-on approach. A keen interest in manufacturing and programming is preferred.
