System Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

As a System Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software and hardware systems. This involves planning, executing, and reporting on integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and execute test strategies, modules, and practices to ensure comprehensive coverage of the system under test.
  • Test Planning and Reporting:
    • Design and conduct system test plans and reports to ensure timely and accurate identification of defects.
  • Resource Management:
    • Manage and optimize test resources, including staff, software, and hardware to meet project deadlines.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with system engineers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing durations, project risks, and defect management.
  • Defect Management:
    • Identify, prioritize, and manage defects and engineering changes to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on the project.
  • Estimation and Costing:
    • Contribute to the estimation, planning, and execution of IVVQ activities, including providing scope and costing for bid activities.
  • Integration and Qualification:
    • Participate in system integration activities, including qualification of the system architecture to ensure seamless integration of components.
  • Platform Management:
    • Maintain and optimize IVVQ platforms to ensure they are functional, reliable, and efficient.
  • Tool Management:
    • Manage and support tools used for monitoring, troubleshooting, and analysis to improve overall system performance.
  • Supplier Coordination:
    • Coordinate with suppliers regarding services and solutions to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Requirement Analysis:
    • Interpret and analyze requirements to ensure they are clearly defined and implemented correctly.
  • Test Environment Setup:
    • Design and implement test environments, including necessary tools and infrastructure, to support system testing and validation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of experience working in the relevant field/industry.
  • Strong understanding of IVVQ principles and processes.
  • Experience in system integration, verification, and validation.
  • Knowledge of defect management tools and workflows.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
