Experienced Freight Coordinator

This is a job opportunity for an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join our organization as a key member of the team. The primary responsibility will be to manage all import/export documentation for sea and air freight, including the preparation of required shipping paperwork.
- Manage all import/export documentation for sea and air freight, including the preparation of required shipping paperwork
- Prepare invoices, permits, and arrange cargo insurance as needed
- Liaise with clients for certificate applications and related documentation
- Coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to arrange container transshipments and confirm vessel schedules for barge connections
- Submit Bill of Lading drafts to shipping lines or freight forwarders and print original Bills of Lading via online platforms
- Apply for and process various permits using Tradeweb and handle back-to-back Certificate of Origin applications
- Submit complete documentation packages to banks for DIP, D/A, and L/C transactions
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in shipping documentation, with a minimum of 1 year of working experience in this field. Experience in import/export documentation or Tradenet/Tradeweb for permit processing is highly valued. Training will be provided to inexperienced candidates.
