Design Engineer - Solar Division:
Energetix Pte Ltd is a specialist solar PV system integrator. We design, engineer, install and maintain solar photovoltaic systems for commercial and industrial building owners, solar power investors and utility companies.

Job Description:
As a key member of our solar division, you will be responsible for preparing AutoCAD drawings for projects including single line diagrams and layouts. You will also prepare 3D modelling & shading analysis using Sketchup Pro or Skelion software.
You will provide design for electrical layout including single-line diagrams, interconnection details, wiring & block diagrams. Additionally, you will provide design for system structure, including mounting method & components.

Responsibilities:
Prepare structural calculations for wind load and structural load. Calculate DC/AC cable voltage drop, DC/AC cable sizing, overcurrent protection & trunking sizing in compliance with code and industry best practice.
Prepare and estimate project bill of material. Create detailed construction drawings for installation team to follow, and as-builts for necessary submissions.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be skilled in AutoCAD. You must have strong organisational, follow-through and communication skills – must be dependable, proactive and prompt.
A high degree of professionalism and strong work ethics are essential. You should be a team player with good communication skills. Additionally, you must be able to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
Independent, self-motivated, committed and results-driven, while able to work in a team, you will ideally have at least 2 years of draughting experience, preferably in electrical or in solar PV systems.
