Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Management System (BMS) Engineer to join our team at MX ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore/Japan Tokyo.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled engineer with expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering, looking to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and scheduling job activities for assigned projects, ensuring seamless coordination with contractors and customers.
  • Monitor and control project progress based on plan schedules, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Represent the company at project meetings and discussions with stakeholders, fostering effective communication and relationships.
  • Manage projects according to contract specifications, maintaining excellent customer relationships and ensuring timely delivery of results.
  • Requisition materials, record scope changes, and follow up on variation submissions and approvals.
  • Develop control panels based on site surveys and existing documentation, creating operations and maintenance documents, including equipment schedules, points schedules, site reports, and descriptions of operations.
  • Design software graphics for user interfaces, writing bespoke software for individual BMS projects, performing electrical installation checks, and completing necessary alterations when issues arise.
  • Conduct mechanical installation checks for correct installation and repair if necessary, surveying sites to provide current documentation, maintenance quotes, or energy savings advice.
  • Perform commissioning checks, including pre-commissioning and post-commissioning, to ensure all systems operate as intended.
  • Write reports for stakeholders and senior management about work completed, project status, and remaining tasks.
  • Provide maintenance and service work to pre-existing BMS systems, ensuring controllers and devices continue to operate smoothly.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be able to write and speak English; Japanese language skills are an added advantage.
  • Working country: Singapore/Japan Tokyo.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Preferably an Engineer specialized in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Energetic, leadership, self-motivated, good problem-solving skills, positive attitude, good written and communication skills.
  • Self-initiative and positive thinker.
  • Committed to job assignments.

Salary Range: SGD 8,000 - SGD 12,000 per month (dependent on experience).
