**Job Title:** Investment Strategist

We are seeking a talented Investment Strategist to join our team in developing and implementing top-down cross-asset investment strategies that optimize the performance of our GIC Portfolio.

As an Investment Strategist, you will be responsible for generating high-quality investment insights that drive informed investment decisions and accelerate time to insights for our systematic business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive investment research and quantitative analysis to support all stages of the investment process, including data ingestion, security mastering, data management, signal research and implementation, portfolio construction and optimization, risk management, execution, and model management.
  2. Partner with technologists and researchers to continuously improve investment processes and build new capabilities for investment idea generation.
  3. Develop mid-horizon systematic investment models using scientific methods to extract actionable insights and communicate technical concepts logically.
  4. Apply machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to analyze unconventional and unstructured datasets.
  5. Prioritize, create, and test complex investment ideas to validate hypotheses, demonstrating creativity in understanding interaction effects and integrating market awareness.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in investment research and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with ML and NLP libraries.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
