At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Control System Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, implementing and maintaining control systems to ensure smooth and efficient automation processes.

The Automation Control System Developer will design, develop, and implement machine control system software applications. This involves developing new software applications, modifying existing ones, and troubleshooting system issues. In addition, the Automation Control System Developer will oversee machine programming, HMI (Human Machine Interface) design, and ongoing maintenance activities. They will also work closely with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers for requirements analysis and creation of requirements documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining new and existing machine control system software applications
  • Overseeing machine programming, HMI design, and system troubleshooting
  • Working closely with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers for requirements analysis and creation of requirements documentation
  • Carrying out automation and control implementation activities for plant modifications
  • Writing, debugging, and testing code according to customer requirements

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in machine control software and HMI programming, configuration, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of electrical diagrams
  • Experience with automation machinery
  • Skilled in Ladder Diagram and Structured Text programming
  • Experience with C#, C++ is an advantage
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

This role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively interact with regional counterparts and customers. Proficiency in both written and spoken English is a must. Additionally, proficiency in Chinese is advantageous for effective communication with regional counterparts and customers.
