Diesel Technician Apprentice

Love's is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will work alongside experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in diesel engine repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior technicians with routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment
  • Perform diagnostic tests to identify problems and determine necessary repairs
  • Develop skills in electrical diagnostics and repairs, air conditioning and heating diagnostics and repairs, and other areas of diesel engine repair

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical training preferred
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in close quarters
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
