Key Role:

As a Senior Lead Engineer, NAND Process Development Films, you will spearhead a team of exceptional engineers to identify, prioritize and drive process solutions under the accelerated technology cadence umbrella for yield, reliability and cost gaps for NAND technology nodes in different stages of technology introduction and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe work environment through proactive safety practices and adhere to safety policies at all times.
  • Hire, develop, mentor, and manage a team of highly capable process engineers.
  • Cultivate an environment of innovation and tenacity within the group to meet the needs of accelerated technology cadence.
  • Provide regular feedback to team members on performance, career development, and mentoring them to support their professional growth through our performance planning and appraisal process.
  • Develop strategy for future technology nodes and contribute to defining the roadmap.
  • Engage with suppliers to develop the process and equipment needed to meet our technology roadmap.
  • Collaborate with other process development, process integration, manufacturing development teams to align on project priorities and deliver robust, manufacturing-friendly processes on time.
  • Partner with Manufacturing fab for effective transfer, pilot ramp, and ongoing development to achieve TECHNODE gate criteria.
  • Engage with Procurement & Operations Central Teams and lead worldwide alignment efforts across technology to improve area effectiveness.
  • This position requires communication and collaboration with partners both locally and globally. Adherence to Micron's Intellectual Property protection policy is mandatory.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
  2. Prior leader experience in Semiconductor industry is highly desirable.
  3. At least 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with CVD/Diffusion background and strong organizational and technical skills with demonstrated success in engagement with worldwide teams.
  4. Demonstrated ability to lead successful projects and experience overseeing a process engineering team.
  5. Able to instill a department culture within each team member in line with company core values.
  6. Excellent communicator (verbal and written).
  7. Demonstrated ability to take calculated risks challenging oneself and others to execute on new solutions.
  8. An excellent mentor, team builder, motivator, and technical expert with proven ability to solicit feedback, accept input, and analyze success/failure.
  9. Able to offer strategic thinking within the context of the PD leadership team in topics of team engagement, group morale, conducive working atmosphere, and work culture.
  10. Track record of problem-solving experience.
  11. Self-development and continue learning mindset.
  12. Ability to travel approximately 4 times per year.
