Job Summary:

The role of an HR and Administrative Support Specialist is to provide effective support to the HR function, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for handling various HR-related tasks, including but not limited to, preparing letters, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely updates to employee information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and distribute HR letters, such as disciplinary, contracts, confirmation, extension of probation, promotion, etc.
  • Maintain accuracy of HR database and update employee records in HR information system.
  • Ensure all employees' employment status is updated and processed timely.
  • Verify staff attendance for payroll processing.
  • Validate and prepare biometrics report for billing.
  • Handle employees' enquiries and feedbacks.

Requirements:

This role requires a diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in HR functions. Candidates with no experience are welcomed, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate should possess basic knowledge of Employment Act, IRAS, and MOM regulations, as well as HR best practices. Strong organizational and administrative skills, proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. Additionally, attention to detail and accuracy in handling HR documentation, ability to manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively are necessary qualities for this position.
