Role Overview">

As a System Engineer (Software), you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software solutions that support the company's operations and services.

This is a full-time position based in the Lavender Central Region, and you will be an integral part of the software engineering team, contributing to the strategic objectives of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysing and understanding business requirements to design and develop efficient, reliable and scalable software applications
  • Writing clean, well-documented code using best practices and industry standards
  • Participating in the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components
  • Troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues in a timely manner
  • Continuously exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance the software solutions
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the software engineering team
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience as a software engineer or system engineer

Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++

Strong understanding of software design patterns, algorithms and data structures

Familiarity with version control systems, build tools, and cloud-based infrastructure

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative
