We are seeking an experienced and skilled Procurement Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process from sourcing to delivery, ensuring that all purchases are made in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Source and place orders for products/raw materials under the supervision of the Procurement Director.
- Perform administrative tasks to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Verify purchase orders for accuracy, including product specifications, costs, and delivery details.
- Seek approval from senior staff before finalizing orders.
- Liaise with vendors to gather bids and procurement specifications.
- Conduct initial inspections of products/packaging for defects.
- Minimum Diploma in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- 2+ years of sourcing/procurement experience (preferred; manufacturing background a plus).
- Proficiency in ERP systems is advantageous.
- Strong verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
