Job Title: Industrial Automation Specialist

About the Job Opportunity:

A senior automation engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation systems using PLC and HMI technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation systems using Siemens PLC and HMI systems.
  • Implement and commission automation systems in industrial plant settings.
  • Maintain and support existing automation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and cybersecurity policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (LAD, FBD, ST).
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, OPC, MQTT).
  • Experience with SCADA software like WinCC.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Python, C++, or Java for automation scripting.
  • Experience with system design and development tools (e.g., CAD software).

Work Environment:

  • Office and industrial plant settings.
  • Travel may be required for site installations and commissioning.
