Job Overview


Singapore Airlines is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Security Operations Manager to join our Safety, Security and Quality Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional oversight in Premises Security in Singapore, ensuring secure operations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a comprehensive framework and procedures for Premises security operations of SIA premises in Singapore.
  • Develop and execute a systematic access control policy that governs all SIA premises in the country.
  • Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand their unique requirements and provide tailored support through a customized access control policy.
  • Promote procurement and management of advanced security systems that meet Business Units' (BUs) requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for premise security.
  • Oversee outsourced security detachment of security officers and ensure effective incident response plans are in place.
  • Support projects for new properties and facilities, including developing security plans and providing supervision.
  • Contribute to special events by developing security plans and providing operational support.
  • Respond to security incidents, provide expert advice to BUs, and assist in incident management.
  • Maintain continuous evaluation of requirements and optimize resources to leverage technology effectively.


Requirements:

  • Holding a degree in any discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in premise security management, facilities, or procurement, including at least 2 years of management experience in leading a team of security professionals.
  • Demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills with extensive experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with flexibility and adaptability required for incident management.


Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
