Job Summary:

This is a specialized role that focuses on establishing and maintaining governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in line with industry standards and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Governance Frameworks: Create, implement, and maintain comprehensive IT governance frameworks to align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with governance requirements and facilitate audits and reviews.
  • Monitor Compliance: Monitor compliance with internal IT policies and regulatory obligations, and coordinate remediation efforts when gaps are identified.
  • Embed Governance Practices: Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT operations, and project teams to embed governance practices into technology initiatives.
  • Report and Present: Prepare and present regular governance and compliance reports for management and relevant committees.

Requirements:

This role requires a strong understanding of IT governance frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, and NIST. Additionally, familiarity with regulatory requirements such as MAS TRM, GDPR, or SOX is essential.

Desired Skills:

Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, or ITIL are also preferred. The ideal candidate should have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

About This Role:

This position involves tracking and managing IT-related audit findings and ensuring timely resolution, supporting third-party risk assessments, and vendor governance processes. It also requires continuously assessing and improving the effectiveness of IT governance practices.
