Job Role: Marine Electronics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide technical support and services in the marine electronics equipment field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with marine electronics equipment from reputable manufacturers.
  • Conduct Radio Surveys and VDR APT Surveys as required, once assigned and authorised to do so.
  • Complete repair and installation tasks as assigned, with remote support or guidance available when necessary.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive service, installation, or survey reports to clients or manufacturers upon job completion.
  • Ensure preparedness for assigned tasks by gathering relevant manuals, software, and technical information internally, and by collecting necessary parts to facilitate job completion.
  • Provide accurate timing and expense details for each job, ensuring all information is truthful and precise.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and comply with maritime regulations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to professional development by pursuing various training courses or engaging in onboard training with senior engineers as deemed appropriate.
