Project Manager Job Description

The Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of site construction work. This involves working closely with the Operations Director/Project Director to lead the site construction team and oversee all aspects of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Operations Director/Project Director in planning and scheduling works to prevent site problems from impacting cost, schedule, and quality.
• Review equipment and material requisitions to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Manage correspondence and documentation with clients, client representatives, and subcontractors.
• Supervise and monitor the site labor force and subcontractors to ensure they are meeting project expectations.
• Liaise with authorities, clients, and consultants to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Ensure all plans and work adhere to specifications and drawings.
• Resolve technical difficulties and issues that may arise on site.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent recognized degree by the P.E. Board is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in the related field is necessary for this position.
• Preferably a manager specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Commitment and responsibility towards job tasks
• Ability to take ownership, proactive approach
• Strong leadership, coaching skills, and organizing abilities
• Ability to work independently
