Job Overview

The Supply Chain Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing cost-effective procurement strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels. They will lead the procurement team to achieve departmental KPIs.

  • Develop monthly management reports detailing procurement activities and inventory levels.
  • Oversee procurement operations, ensuring timely completion of purchasing tasks.
  • Liaise with local and overseas suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing and establish effective working relationships.
  • Monitor sales, usage, and inventory levels to prevent stock-out situations and maintain a healthy level of stock.
  • Evaluate contractual agreements, negotiating renewals or sourcing new suppliers to secure the best prices.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis (e.g., COGS, inventory reports, procurement reports) to support business results.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement and vendor management within the F&B industry is required.

  • Proven track record of delivering results in areas such as cost management, vendor management, quality controls, and inventory management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills are essential.
