Market Analysis Specialist

This role is a unique opportunity to leverage our strengths in coal and expand into steel raw materials such as iron ore, scrap and steel.
- Gather daily price information for major seaborne iron ore prices
- Develop a strong contact base in the Singapore iron ore trading community and engage regularly with key contacts
- Garnish market intelligence covering shifts in consumption patterns of iron ore, impacts of policy and macro-economic conditions, developments in the steel sector
This position requires fluency in English. Knowledge of Mandarin is an asset. A bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Finance or Business is required. 2-4 years of experience in commodities, specifically in iron ore or ferrous markets, are desired. Proficiency in spreadsheets and commodity data analysis is essential. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to engage market participants daily and build lasting industry relationships, are also required.
