Director of Construction Projects

We are seeking an experienced Director to oversee our construction projects across Singapore.

The ideal candidate will bring leadership, operational excellence, and deep technical expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through completion across multiple projects in Singapore.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management activities.
  • Build and lead cross-functional project teams, including contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring regular communication, satisfaction, and expectation alignment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide strong leadership in dispute resolution and contract negotiation.
  • Lead project reviews, reporting regularly to senior management on progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in collaboration with the business development team.
  • Mentor and develop the next generation of project leaders within the company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of construction project management experience, with at least 3 years at the leadership/director or management level.
  • Proven track record managing multi-projects across Singapore.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls, and contract management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an ability to drive project profitability.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
