Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior IC Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of complex IC designs. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire Netlist-to-GDS design flow, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Flow Management: Lead and manage the Netlist-to-GDS design flow, including floorplanning, placement, timing optimization, clock-free synthesis, and routing
  • STA Analysis and Troubleshooting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve timing-related issues through STA analysis and troubleshooting
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless execution of design projects
  • Methodology Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of design methodologies and flow optimizations
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in IC design

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Science (CS)
  • Design Experience: Proficiency in using Cadence Innovus or Synopsys ICC2/Fusion Compiler for IC design tasks
  • Netlist-to-GDS Expertise: Strong understanding of the Netlist-to-GDS design flow and its various stages
  • Process Familiarity: Familiarity with 65nm, 40nm, or 28nm IC design processes is highly desirable
  • STA Knowledge: Solid knowledge of STA techniques and experience in addressing timing issues
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve design-related challenges
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
