Research Expert for AI Algorithm Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Expert to conduct research and development of AI algorithms for sensor fusion and defect detection in the context of manual assembly job quality inspection.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing artificial intelligence technologies to perform sensor fusion and defect detection, system integration of the developed algorithms, overseeing project procurement and maintenance of equipment, providing mentorship and academic guidance to students, and preparing reports pertaining to the project.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement AI algorithms for sensor fusion and defect detection.
  • Systematically integrate developed algorithms into existing systems.
  • Ensure smooth project execution by coordinating procurement and maintenance of necessary equipment.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in their research endeavors.
  • Compile comprehensive reports on project progress and outcomes.
  • Requirements:
  • PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in computer vision, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C and Python, as well as deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Familiarity with imaging and computing devices/equipment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Prior publication records are an asset.
