About the Role

This is a crucial position that ensures the quality and effectiveness of Islamic Education within the community, with a focus on part-time Islamic education for the youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies to address emerging challenges and opportunities in part-time Islamic Education.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current part-time IE curricula in meeting the spiritual and educational needs of Muslim youth in Singapore.
  • Facilitate communication between various IE centres to ensure consistency in programme delivery and policy implementation.
Requirements

Tertiary education in Islamic Studies, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field. A postgraduate degree would be an advantage.

Formal qualifications in research methodologies or evidence of substantial research experience.
