Job Overview

Select Alternative Investments is a pioneering direct investment platform focused on Private Equity, Real Estate, and Venture Capital. We target exclusive, private investment opportunities alongside our discerning investors and provide unparalleled access to our proprietary deal sourcing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the investment team in navigating the deal cycle, from initial screening to due diligence.
  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of new investment opportunities in the Asia, Europe, and US markets, participating in meetings with external partners and preparing comprehensive call memos.
  • Analyse investment memoranda and economic models for RE, PE, and VC deals.
  • Assist with financial modeling and preparation of market research to support deal due diligence.
  • Provide analytical, forecasting, and reporting support to investment directors.
  • Prepare investment committee memoranda, investor presentations, and other deal materials.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a background in business, finance, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Previous internship in a relevant field, such as investment banking, M&A, or consulting, is an asset.
  • Genuine passion for a career as an investment professional.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, proactivity, and a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent English language skills, with high levels of written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in both on-the-ground and virtual teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to uncover critical information.
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and ownership, with the ability to work independently and with low supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to commit for 3 - 6 months.
  • Pre-existing eligibility to work in Singapore.
