Super Resolution Microscopy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled specialist to join our team in the development of cutting-edge nonlinear optical microscopy technologies for label-free tissue and cells nano-imaging.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in physical optics and imaging techniques. As a Super Resolution Microscopy Specialist, you will work closely with experts to develop advanced microscopy technologies using line-scanned and FPGA linear-detection systems, as well as interfacing between hardware and imaging software control.

  • You will be responsible for designing and constructing line-scanned and FPGA linear-detection systems, and interfacing between hardware and imaging software control.
  • Developing algorithms for signal processing is also a key aspect of this role.

To be successful in this position, you will need to have a PhD degree in a related field such as Physical Optics, Applied Optics/Applied Physics, Optical Engineering and instrumentation, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following areas:

  • Super-resolution microscopy (STED, PALM, STORM, etc)
  • Nonlinear optics and microscopy (SRS/CARS, SHG, THG, etc.)
  • Fourier optics, fiber-optics and imaging
  • SERS, near-field optics and surface plasmon
  • Tip-enhanced Raman technique, ultrafast laser technique
  • Laser spectroscopy; optoelectronics
  • Animal models, tissue and cells manipulation and imaging
