  • Develop and update hull material and architectural outfitting specifications.
  • Coordinate contract specification requirements into engineering drawing documents.
  • Prepare bills of materials and select suitable materials.
  • Manage progress reporting and schedule deliverables.
  • Perform site visits to rectify engineering issues or verify new construction.
  • Coordinate work with other disciplines, production, QA/QC, and clients.
  • Meet with vendors, client representatives, and accreditation bodies when necessary.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years experience in a marine or offshore industry, either in shipyards or marine equipment manufacturing. A diploma or bachelor's degree in structural or marine engineering is required. Strong knowledge of Intergraph-SmartMarine 3D software and ability to perform structural analysis are essential. Familiarity with marine and offshore rules, regulations, and requirements is also necessary.
