About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Architect to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our Public Sector vertical, you will work closely with our customers to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet their business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to craft architectures, proof of concepts, and demonstrations of our platform.
  • Help customers transform their business by accelerating the adoption of AWS technology and leveraging Generative AI.
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions covering a range of domains, including migration of core enterprise applications, AI/ML, microservices, containers, app development, and IoT.
  • Develop industry-relevant architectures and convey business value to customers.
  • Build relationships with customers to understand their needs and influence stakeholders to ensure short-term technology decisions align with long-term goals.
  • Act as an evangelist in the wider community, educating and sharing best practices through presentations, writing, and workshops.
  • Gather feedback from customers and collaborate with engineering and service teams to shape the direction of our products and services.
About the Team

This role is part of the AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team, under the Public Sector vertical. As part of the team, you will work with our customers based out of our Singapore office, focusing on the public sector and working directly with customers from various government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in a technology-related field, such as Technology Architect, Consultant, Cloud Architect, Technical Lead, Software Developers, Engineering Lead, Sales Engineer, Pre Sales Engineer, or Systems Engineers.
  • Experience and/or deeper understanding in one or more technology areas, including software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • Ability to create proof of concepts, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components.
  • Understanding and ability to articulate common architectural patterns and design principles.
  • Ability to take the lead on complex technical projects, which may require participation from other teams to deliver.
  • Able to create technical content that is easily adopted and reusable by others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience building Generative AI solutions.
  • Deep understanding in AI/ML and Data Analytics technology areas.
  • Experience architecting, migrating, or transforming customer requirements to the cloud.
  • Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
  • One or more AWS certifications, e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership through public speaking and/or publications.
