Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at Marina Bay Sands. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to our guests, exceeding their expectations and ensuring a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge of all menu items, including cocktails, beers, and wines, to guests and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies, and managing cash handling and credit card transactions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar area.
• Meet and exceed sales targets, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu items and promotions.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance initiatives to ensure high standards of service and product quality.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports, including sales data and inventory levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or tourism diploma an asset.
• Minimum 12 months of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
• Proficient in written and verbal English, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
