Job Description

As a Marine Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of marine equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of marine generators.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing standby support and emergency call for customer support.
  • Offering after-sales technical support, site recovery, and maintenance services to distributors/end customers.
  • Generating service reports to customers in a systematic manner.
  • Investigating and handling all customers' complaints related to product failures.
  • Investigating root causes of failures and recommending solutions.
  • Reviewing and assisting in determining the extent of damage and repairs of warranty claims from distributors.
  • Maintaining close working relationships with key customers to ensure follow-through until issues are resolved.
  • Developing service training materials, ensuring all technical and training documents are up-to-date and organized.
  • Providing specific training to distributors and dealers for service and troubleshooting skillsets, ensuring optimal service levels at all distributors.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A diploma/degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Fair amounts of travel in the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Region.
  • Candidates with equivalent professional backgrounds will be considered.
  • Prior electrical and control experience with various control systems (John Deere ECU and KDI ECU) and synchronization systems will be advantageous.
Benefits

Competitive salary range: SGD 3,500 to SGD 5,000 monthly, 13th month, SGD 250 transport allowance.
