Cloud Technology Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Technology Strategist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops POCs to evaluate new technologies and makes recommendations.
  • Designs and/or proposes enhancements to improve the performance, availability and reliability of the system architectures.
  • Gathers business insights, and maps architecture and digital transformation solutions to the business outcomes.
  • Ensures architecture designs/deployments are optimal:
  1. Leverages and champions an existing architecture approach.
  2. Supports architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization.
  3. Helps to shape and enhance customers' requirements.
  4. Identifies, escalates, and works to resolve technical blockers.
  5. Adapts methodology and applies governance (e.g. Well-Architected Framework, Cloud Adoption Framework).
  6. Checks the security baselines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of in project management principles and practices.
  • Good understanding of the latest technologies: Kubernetes, Kafka, cybersecurity, MSA, AI/ML, or Real-time analytics solutions.
  • At least 2-3 years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications on cloud.
  • Experience in Cloud Solutions such as Google Cloud Platform / Microsoft Azure / Alicloud.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of one or more topics: DevOps, Big Data, Machine Learning, Serverless computing, Cloud Migration, Application Modernization, etc.
  • Experiences in various architect community activities (e.g., Open source contributions, technical meetups, webcasts, blogs, hackathons) is an added advantage.
