Construction Project Supervisor Role

The primary objective of this position is to oversee the construction process and ensure it is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Provide regular site supervision for the construction of civil and structural works according to project specifications, drawings, and Building Control Act.
  • Collaborate with the Site Representative Engineer (SRE) in managing and controlling site staff or Resident Technical Officers.
  • Assist SRE in administrative control of site staff, maintain discipline, punctuality, and keep daily records of attendance and other staff-related matters.
  • Oversee all aspects related to the construction of the project, including record-keeping and submission.
  • Offer full support and assistance as directed by the SRE or client.
  • Evaluate temporary works by the contractor to ensure they are safe and compliant with all relevant regulations.
  • Verify that the contractor's working procedures align with agreed method statements and relevant workplace safety and health regulations, making necessary modifications.
  • Manage tunneling works oversight.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years of civil engineering experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in various tunneling works.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Accredited as a RE with a valid IES certificate.
  • Able to work comfortably within a 56-hour work week.
