About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic business working with some of the world's leading financial institutions. Our Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) technology transformation area is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to support the implementation of new software for clients, or changes to existing implementations ensuring optimal quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the quality of configuration and development for our software.
  • Create test plans, test cases, and related documents in appropriate tooling, ensuring appropriate traceability.
  • Support delivery of projects that involve implementing the software for new clients, customizing the product offering, workflow, forms, and integrations for existing clients, and enhancing the capabilities of the core platform.
  • Liaise directly with clients to understand platform challenges, potential defects, or impact on the business of the team configuration, and help to root cause problems and support Technical Consultants to solve problems.
  • Support planning, estimations, testing, and deployment phases of the software project lifecycle, collaborating with technical lead and other Tech Consultants, client-facing Project Managers, and Business Analysts across the broader team.
  • Support application testing (manual and automated) and implementation of configuration software changes (GoldTier), typically for System Testing, peer config review, and supporting challenges in client UAT.
  • Review test data coverage for their area, support with defects verifications, and help with elements of Technical Consulting.
  • Report status of testing at varying levels (to existing team, to junior and senior client levels).
  • Deliver tasks to a high standard while adhering to implementation timelines.
  • Update time tracking, issue tracking, and reporting systems in a timely manner.
  • Actively participate in grooming sessions for core product enhancement, development, and testing.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a software testing, technical specialist, or related field, ideally within Financial Services.
  • Test plan, scenario, and case design and documentation and execution expertise from Unit Testing to SIT, UAT, and Regression to delivery and live maintenance.
  • Some understanding of CLM end-to-end in large financial institutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical matters to diverse audiences.
  • Evidence of collaborative working within a globally distributed Change/Professional Services or technical implementations team.
  • Experience working with clients remotely in other geographic locations.
  • Technical experience backed up with understanding of testing: Relational databases and SQL, Web servers, APIs.
  • Experience of XML, JavaScript, and Java an asset.
